About Us

Kosciusko County Velo (KCV) Cycling Club strives to develop and promote healthy lifestyle opportunities in and for our community through bicycling.

KCV is a volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization which focuses on:

  • encouraging bicycling to all ages for health, recreation, competition and transportation
  • promoting bicycle safety
  • advocating for bicycling facilities
  • developing participation opportunities for our community
  • promoting events that partner with, and help to bolster, our local economy

KCV’s mission is based on helping to make our community a better place to live and work through:

  • community awareness (education for, access to, and promotion of cycling)
  • healthy opportunities (through friendships, competitions, events, rides, training and coaching)
  • mutual partnerships (with community leaders, businesses and the cycling industry)

KCV Cycling Club currently develops, promotes and oversees several events, activities, local trail maintenance and usage of the Old Chicago Boys Club Winona Lake off-road trails. KCV leadership also oversees a regionally, elite-level, men’s and women’s professional development race team.
